Graduated and master in Geography, in the specialization area of Human Geography and Regional and Local Planning by the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon.
Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho. She completed her PhD in 2012 with a paper on Labor Migration and integration processes in the labour market, comparing the strategies developed by immigrants from Eastern Europe in Greater Porto and the Portuguese in Geneva.
Her publications, as well as the research projects he has collaborated with, are centred around diversified interests, but which mainly focus on the areas of Migration Geography, Social Geography; Urban Geography and Urban Planning.
