Maria Manuel Baptista works in the area of Cultural Studies and is particularly interested in highly interdisciplinary projects, some in execution and others in preparation, in Portugal and in Lusophone countries, particularly in Brazil. She seeks to develop academic networks and partnerships with Spain (and other Latin American countries), England and France. In this way, she is interested in activities and projects that can articulate the areas of Literature, Philosophy, Education, Communication, Social and Cultural Psychology, History and History of Art/Aesthetics, Sociology of Culture, Popular Culture and Religiosity, as well as Cultural Tourism.
Maria Manuel Baptista is a professor at the Department of Languages and Cultures at the University of Aveiro, a Ph.D. in Culture, at the same university, a master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Coimbra, and graduated in Philosophy, at the University of Porto.
