PhD student in Communication and Semiotics at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) in cotutelle with Cultural Studies at the University of Minho (UMinho).
Member of the Centro de Pesquisas Sociossemióticas (CPS-PUC), she has a Master’s degree in Communication and Semiotics from the PUC-SP, and a bachelor in Communication and Body Arts (PUC-SP), specialising in teaching and learning contemporary artistic languages (FASM).
Educator and cultural articulator, Micaela develops cultural projects and researches art and urban representations and the production of senses in the cities’ public spaces. She was an art teacher in basic education in São Paulo (Brazil), and she collaborated in content production and creation for the art teacher training projects of the Instituto Arte na Escola (Brazil).
