PhD in Art History (Late Medieval and Early Modern Wall Paintings in the North of Portugal), by the University of Minho in 2008, Paula Bessa is a Lecturer in the Department of History of University of Minho.
Her main areas of research include Late Medieval and Early Modern Wall Paintings in the North of Portugal.
