Roberto Martínez Pecino is an associate professor of Social Psychology of Communication at the University of Seville, Spain. At that university he has received the distinguished alumnus award in the degree in Psychology, a distinguished award for his doctoral dissertation and the recognition for excellence in teaching. He has also received an award of Scientific Culture of the Seville City Council in collaboration with the Higher Council for Scientific Research. He develops a research stay with Professor Alice Delerue Matos. They have established together a fruitful line of cooperation that has resulted in joint co-direction of doctoral theses, presentations at conferences and publications in high-impact journals indexed in JCR.
