Maria Rosalina Afonso Rodas Veiga has a Master’s Degree (Pre-Bologna) in Education Sciences specialising in Teacher Training from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Lisbon and a Postgraduate Degree in Special Education -Multi-disabilities and Cognition Problems from the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (2005) and a Postgraduate Degree in Pedagogical Supervision and Teacher Assessment from the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto (2011).
As a special education lecturer and collaborating researcher at the Communication and Society Research Centre, she is a trainer accredited by the Scientific and Pedagogical Council for Continuous Training. She collaborates with research on professional inclusion, independent life, self-determination, participation in the community and quality of life for people with disabilities.
