Samuel Gonçalves do Carmo has a master’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Portugal), a specialist in Public Communication from the Faculdade Integrada da Grande Fortaleza and a Graduate in Social Communication from the Federal University of Goiás (Brazil), with a qualification in Public Relations. He is a PhD student in Science at the University of Minho (Portugal).
His master’s thesis, which was also published as a book, analysed the importance of public relations professionals in Brazilian federal educational institutions. For his doctoral thesis, he proposes an analysis of Communication and Public Relations: A panoramic view of the legacy of PR in the management of the institutional image of Brazilian Educational Institutions on social networks.
Professional career: public servant (PR) at the São Mateus Campus of the Federal Institute of Education of Espírito Santo, being responsible for the Communication and Events sector.
