Journalist at Lusa, Portugal’s news agency, since 2001, Sérgio S. Soares coordinated the agency’s North Delegation from 2011 to 2012. Since 2013, he has held the position of regional editor at the Lusa Center Delegation.
He is currently a professor in the Degree Course in Journalism at Instituto Superior Miguel Torga since 2018, with responsibilities in the curricular units of News Theories and Ethics and Deontology in Journalism.
PhD candidate at the University of Minho, he develops his work in the area of Public Media Service.
