Sofia Gomes

Sofia Gomes holds a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences from the University of Minho in the area of Health Journalism. Her thesis is entitled “Journalism and Health Prevention: Portraits of the Portuguese Press between 2012 and 2014”, resulting from a project financed by Fundação for Science and Technology. She is a researcher at the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS) and her main research interests are in the areas of Journalism, Health Journalism and Sources of Information.
