CECS researcher at the 25th PubhD UMinho

On March 22, Alene Lins, a doctoral student of Communication Sciences and researcher at CECS, will be one of the protagonists of the 25th Edition of PubhD UMinho. The informal meeting will take place in the bar Barhaus, in the center of Braga.

Alene Lins studies photojournalism in spontaneous poses that generate negative reactions or that deliberately reduce the image of the portrayed person. The doctor intends to prove the existence of an unethical action in certain editorial processes of the newsrooms, in the choice of photos that do not always express the truth.
