IV Communication Workshop from IGPM CECS-UMinho/Bosch project

“More than words – How verbal and non-verbal language can help you succeed” was the subject of the IV Workshop organized by the research group of the IGPM project: Integrated Global Project Management of Industrialization Projects, held on April 23th at the Institute of Social Sciences for project managers at Bosch Car Multimedia in Braga.

The aim of the initiative – proposed by the researchers Teresa Ruão and Margarida Carvalho, of the Communication and Society Research Center – was to deepen, together with Bosch project managers, notions of interpersonal attraction, theatricality and stigma, in the relational experience.

The program also included an intervention by José Gabriel Andrade, who worked on the theme of ‘Interpersonal Communication mediated by technologies’ in particular or public contexts. José Gabriel Andrade is professor at the Catholic Portuguese University and at the University of Minho, as well as consultant in Portuguese and Brazilian companies.

The IGPM project is part of the Innovative Car HMI consortium, a I&DT program that results from a partnership between Bosch BrgP and UMinho, of which CECS is also a partner.
