“Cultural Heritage”, the 2CN-CLab workshop, was held on 29 and 30 June at the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha, in Coimbra. Organized by CECS, this is part of the Post-Doctoral Research project conducted by Manuel Gama, in collaboration with Spanish and Brazilian cultural institutions.
In this first workshop, Paulo Trincão (Exploratory – Centro Ciência Viva de Coimbra), was the keynote speaker, giving a lecture on “Networks of cultural cooperation”. The first round table, dedicated to “Experiences of networking in the cultural sector”, was attended by Emília Santos (Classical Orchestra of the Center), Luís Fernandes (D’Orfeu Cultural Association), Eduardo Correia (Regional Theater of Serra de Montemuro) and Luís Costa (BInaural Cultural Association of Nodar). The second round table on “Experiences of networking in the cultural sector” was attended by Cláudia Pato de Carvalho (O Teatrão), Paula Garcia (Centro de Artes do Espetáculo de Viseu – Teatro Viriato), Filipe Faria (Arte das Musas) and Miguel Torres (ACERT, Associação Cultural e Recreativa de Tondela).
Cultural Cooperation Networks – Creative Laboratory (2CN-CLAB) is being promoted since January 2016, under the project “Transnational cultural cooperation networks: Portugal European, Lusophone and Ibero-American”, which is being developed with the support of FCT , In Portugal, Spain and Brazil.
The 2CN-CLAB aims to promote a critical and constructive discussion about the cultural cooperation networks and, in this way, to raise awareness and empower the participants to participate in organizations of this nature.
The 2CN-CLAB workshops aims to contribute to a SWOT analysis of the state of cultural cooperation networks; Raise awareness of participation in cultural cooperation networks; To invite the addressees to participate actively in the process of reflection and dialogue on cultural cooperation networks; Present and discuss experiences, in the territory and from the territory, of networking in the cultural sector; Promote dialogue between actors in the cultural sector; Debate the future of cultural networks.
The next meeting will be in Évora, on 13 and 14 JUly, will be supported by the Regional Directorate of Culture of Alentejo, Évora and will be subordinated to the theme “Cultural mediation”.
