2CN-CLab Meeting held in Évora

“Cultural Mediation”, the 2CN-CLab Meeting “Culture, Cooperation and Networks”, was held on 13 and 14 July at the Regional Directorate of Culture of Alentejo, in Évora. Organized by CECS, this is part of the Post-Doctoral Research project conducted by Manuel Gama, in collaboration with Spanish and Brazilian cultural institutions.
In this opening conference, Rui Horta (O Espaço do Tempo), was the keynote speaker, giving a lecture on “Cultural Mediation – Networks and Cooperation”. The first round table was attended by Marisa Guimarães (Fórum Fundação Eugénio de Almeida), Miguel Rego (Rede de Museus Rurais do Sul) e Tânia de Brito (Projeto Educativo Teatro do Mar). The second round table was attended by Anabela Ferreira (Centro Juvenil de Montemor-o-Novo), Diogo Nascimento (Museu da Luz) e Zélia Parreira (Biblioteca Pública de Évora).
Cultural Cooperation Networks – Creative Laboratory (2CN-CLAB) is being promoted since January 2016, aims to promote a critical and constructive discussion about the cultural cooperation networks and, in this way, to raise awareness and empower the participants to participate in organizations of this nature.
The next meeting will be in Viana do Castelo and Vila Nova de Cerveira, on 7 and 8 September, will be co-promoted by Municipality of Viana do Castelo and Cerveira Biennial Art Foundation.
