Pandemic and Communication Days return with “The Decision Makers’ Perspective”

The 2nd Conference, “Pandemic and Communication – The Decision-Makers’ Perspective”, will take place next March 11, at the de Sala de Exposições (Library Building) of the CECC/Faculty of Human Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Lisbon).

The event will start at 2.30 pm and will be attended by the Minister of State for the Presidency, Mariana Vieira da Silva. Isabel Capeloa Gil, Dean of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Nelson Ribeiro, Director of the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and Catarina Duff Burnay, researcher of the COM.VEU project will also participate in the opening.

The Minister of Health, Marta Temido, the Chefe do Estado-Maior da Armada, Henrique Gouveia e Melo, and the Government adviser for the pandemic, Raquel Duarte, are the keynote speakers for the panel discussion from 3 pm to 4 pm, moderated by Felisbela Lopes, a researcher at CECS and the COM.VEU project.

The first event of this cycle of conferences, “Pandemic and Communication – The Assessors’ Perspective”, was held last year. Several experts responsible for the Communication of health authorities, public and private hospitals, laboratories, and professional associations gathered at the CECS.

This is an initiative of a group of researchers from CECS/University of Minho, CINTESIS/Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, CEIS20/Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra and CECC/Faculty of Human Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
