Juliana Rangel Barboza: new PhD in Sociology

On November 13th, at 2:00 p.m., in the Institute of Social Sciences, the doctoral thesis in Sociology of Juliana Rangel Barboza was held.

The thesis, supervised by Emília Araújo, has the title “Internationalization, Mobility and Culture: the IFRN case”.

The jury, chaired by Helena Sousa, was composed by:

– Teresa Augusta Ruão Correia Pinto, Associate Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Maria Teresa Geraldo Carvalho, Assistant Professor, Department of Social, Political and Territory Sciences, University of Aveiro;

– Emília Rodrigues Araújo, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Rita Maria Gonçalves Ribeiro, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Cristina Maria Paixão de Sousa, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics and Management, Portucalense University.

The candidate obtained the maximum score in the University of Minho: very good unanimously.
