Launch of the Virtual Museum of Lusophony’s “Mónica Baldaque – Sapatos de Corda” Collection

This April, the Virtual Museum of Lusophony launches the virtual collection “Mónica Baldaque – Sapatos de Corda”.

The work exhibited on the Google Arts & Culture platform is centred on Baldaque’s literary work: “Sapatos de Corda – Agustina”. Mónica Baldaque is the daughter of Agustina Bessa-Luís (1922-2019), the Portuguese writer to whom the book is dedicated.

The exhibition thus presents various images of the memories recounted in the book. It features an interview with Mónica Baldaque, conducted by Tiago Vieira da Silva, PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of Minho and a collaborator of the Virtual Museum of Lusophony.
