Manuel Chaparro at the first doctoral seminar of 2020-2021

On February 26, at 3 pm, the first Doctoral Seminar on Communication Sciences and Cultural Studies will take place in the academic year 2020-2021. Manuel Chaparro, from the University of Malaga, is the guest; “Public policies, decoloniality and new narratives in the face of the challenges of ecotransition” is the theme.

Manuel Chaparro Escudero is a full professor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University of Malaga, in Spain. He is also the director of UMA’s doctoral program at the University of El Salvador. Founder and director of the Association of Municipal Radio and Television Stations of Andalusia (www.emartv.com), he is the coordinator of cooperation projects in Social Communication in Bolivia, Guatemala, El Salvador and Argentina. Doctor in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, he advised the international cooperation of AECID in Argentina, Bolivia and Guatemala.
He published books and several articles on radio and television.
