Maria do Carmo Piçarra will participate in an international colloquium on “Africa, Oceans and Narratives” (USP-Brazil)

The CECS researcher, Maria do Carmo Piçarra, will participate, from October 16 to 18, in the international colloquium on “Africa, Oceans and Narratives”, which will take place at USP-University of São Paulo (Brazil).
The intervention of the researcher, who develops a post-doctoral program in the framework of the CECS, under the supervision of Rosa Cabecinhas, is scheduled for October 17 (7:30 p.m., local time) where she will participate, along with Aparecida de Fátima Bueno (USP), Fabiana Carelli (USP) and Lívia Apa (University of Napoli), on panel 2, entitled “The Cinematographic Narrative: Images of Africa and its People”.
The organization belongs to the Postgraduate Program in Comparative Studies of Portuguese Language Literature, the Center for African Studies and the PIELAFRICA Group.
