On July 24, at 10:30 am, in the auditorium B2, of the Pedagogical Complex 2 of the campus of Gualtar, was held the PhD defense of Marta Sofia Freitas de Noronha and Sousa.
The thesis, guided by Moisés de Lemos Martins and Nelson Zagalo, has the title “The spread of stories through multiple means. For a conceptual model of transmediations, adaptations and other derivative exercises”.
The jury, presided over by Helena Sousa, consisted of:
– Moisés de Lemos Martins, full professor at the Department of Communication Sciences, University of Minho;
– Manuel Joaquim da Silva Pinto, full professor at the Department of Communication Sciences of the University of Minho;
– Mirian Estela Nogueira Tavares, associate professor at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at the University of Algarve;
– José Manuel Emiliano Bidarra de Almeida, assistant professor at the Department of Science and Technology of the Open University;
– Maria Helena Martins da Costa Pires, assistant professor at the Department of Communication Sciences of the University of Minho;
– Luís António Martins Santos, assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences of the University of Minho.
The new Ph.D obtained the highest rating of this institution: very good with unanimity.
