POLOBS: Braga Audience Study
The Observatory of Science, Communication and Culture Policies (POLObs / CECS) of the University of Minho is coordinating the study “Publics of Culture of Braga”, carried out in the context of the Braga Cultura 2030 strategy and of Braga's candidacy for the European Capital of Culture 2027.
Cultural Dynamics Torres Novas 2020: Contributions for the elaboration of the Municipal Strategic Plan for Culture
In the context of the definition of the Municipal Strategic Plan for Culture, the Municipality of Torres Novas commissioned POLObs, the study “Cultural Dynamics Torres Novas 2020: Contributions for the elaboration of the Municipal Strategic Plan for Culture”, which contemplates, in two phases.
Culture in the post-North 2020
As part of the process of preparing the program to succeed the North 2020 Program (North 2020), the Regional Directorate for Culture of the North (DRCN) commissioned a study from the POLObs of the CECS, which contributed to the definition of a Regional Cultural Strategy and Policy, that reflected structurally the common and shared interests of the region and, thus, the major investment options to be defined for the next 10 years. The results of the study “Culture in the post-North 2020” are now available online and will be presented publicly in the last quarter of 2020.
Seminar “A European unconscious. Racism, memory, citizenship”
The Permanent Seminar on Post-Colonial Studies will take place on November 25, at 2:30 pm. The session, dedicated to the theme "A European unconscious. Racism, memory, citizenship", will include the participation of Paulo de Medeiros, from the Warwick University.

On October 29, at 11:00 am, took place a cycle of webinars dedicated to the debate on Modern History begins. Organized by Isabel dos Guimarães Sá, a researcher at CECS, this cycle of webinars already has a program until January 2021.
