The twentieth anniversary of the CECS was celebrated with the initiative “Meeting with Researchers: dialogues on science policy“. The event was attended by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, and the rector of UMinho, Rui Vieira de Castro.
World Day of Portuguese Language celebrated with the launch of a new collection at the Virtual Museum of Lusophony
This collection, divided in three parts, results from the project developed by Paulo Munhoz (Federal University of Santa Maria (RS) and researcher of the Online Journalism Research Group (Gjol) of the Federal University of Bahia). The project is a visual clipping of the Santo António Além do Carmo neighbourhood, in the city of Salvador (Bahia), from three dimensions: daily life, memory and faith.Seminar “The culture of cancellation in social networks and hate speech”
The next MilObs seminar, organised in partnership with Communitas, brings together social networks and hate speech in the same debate. The meeting will take place on May 5, at 4pm, via Zoom, and will be broadcast on MilObs and CECS Facebook.
