RLEC and Communication and Society: new volumes

The most recent volumes of CECS journals have been published.

Edited by Helena Pires, Zara Pinto-Coelho and Cíntia Sanmartin Fernandes, the volume of the Lusophone Journal of Cultural Studies (RLEC) is entitled “Sentient City – An Atonal Landscape”. Communication and Society was edited by Rodrigo Ribeiro Saturnino, Helena Sousa and Jack Linchuan Qiu and is dedicated to the theme “Digital Platforms in the Connected Economy: Discourse, Control, Consumption and Collaboration”.

On June 17th, Passeio presented the COMPRAÇA. The press conference took place in the facilities of the Public Market of Braga - Praça - and was attended by the coordinators of the project, Helena Pires and Zara Pinto-Coelho, the councillor Olga Pereira, responsible for Municipal Facilities of the city, and Jorge Louro, deputy of the councillor.

The Children, Youth and Media section, of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA), invites participation in a workshop dedicated to children's rights and ethical issues raised by research with young people. On 6 September 2021, Eva Lievens (Ghent University) and Elisabeth Staksrud (University of Oslo) will lead the discussions within the pre-conference to which MILObs joins in the local organisation.
