Ecrea Pre-Conference 2021 | Transarts, Expanded Art And New Languages
Taking as its theme TransArts, expanded art and new languages, Passeio is organising one of the pre-conferences of ECREA 2021. The event that was to be held on October 1, 2020, has been rescheduled due to the COVID-19 epidemiological situation. As such, the pre-conference will take place on 03 September 2021.

CECS researchers win AHFE 2021 Best Paper Award
Sara Pereira, Daniel Brandão and Manuel Pinto won the best paper award of the Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics (AHFE) 2021 with the article "bYou: A research proposal about and with children and youngsters as creative agents of change through the use of the media".
New Creative Europe Programme 2021-2027 presented at POLObs Seminar

RLEC | Call for Papers | Intercultural mediation, citizenship and social development
This issue invites contributions on the various facets of intercultural mediation and the role of mediators in times of change such as these. It invites authors to consider the plural and multifaceted objectives of intercultural mediation in contexts of social transformation. The focus of the issue will be on trialled practices of intercultural mediation, the construction of multicultural citizenship, and the positive development of society, which are transformative and healing in a humanist logic of caring for the other and in terms of the possibility of reinterpreting society in contexts of crisis.
