PolObs organises Open Class Cycle
An open lecture on "Cultural Rights: inclusion, participation and citizenship" will be held on April 12 at 2.30 pm in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto (Portugal). The session, which is part of a cycle of classes organised by the Observatory of Policies on Science, Communication and Culture (PolObs) of the CECS, is coordinated by Manuel Gama, a researcher at the CECS, and also includes the participation of Paula Guerra, from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto.

An open class on "Culture, Environment and Community Resilience" will be held on April 12 at 10 am in Room 3.1 of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (Portugal). ”Tell me about the 25 April”: bYou and MILObs challenge youth participation in a sound and video production competition
The 50th anniversary of 25 April sets the tone for the latest initiative from the bYou project and MILObs. Running from January 2 to March 31, the "Tell me about 25 April" competition challenges youths aged 6 to 18 to express their reflections on the Carnation Revolution through video creations or sound productions. Sara Pereira chairs the Advisory Board of the National Plan for Media Literacy
Sara Pereira, a researcher at CECS and a professor at the University of Minho, was recently appointed by a joint order of the Ministers of Culture and Education to head the monitoring body for the PNLN, which is intended to structure the national policy for media education.
