The documentary “No Trilho de Malangatana: do legado à memória” was published online. The film, produced by the Museu Virtual da Lusofonia, one of the cultural platforms of the Communication and Society Research Centre, refers to the life and work of Malangatana, highlighting his ability to work in various artistic spheres (painting, music, sculpture, etc.).

The CECS published a new ebook: ParticipAD - Participatory advertising: a global perspective with a Latin American focus. Coordinated by CECS researcher Ana Duarte Melo and Marcela Duque, this ebook works on the concept of ParticipAD, "a concept based on the participatory and interventionist potential of Advertising".

”How to pierce the bubbles?” by Sylvia Moretzsohn

Sylvia Moretzsohn, a former journalist in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), is one of the current post-doctoral researchers and visiting researchers at CECS. In an interview, she presented her postdoctoral project, as well as advanced with some reflections on the current state of journalism. "From chaos, beliefs, bubbles and breaches" is the title of Sylvia's research at CECS in which she seeks to understand "how to pierce the bubbles", a study of the need and difficulties of journalism in the networking world.

Tadeu Feitosa: “The tendency is Lusofonia, as an integrative cultural force, to unite the peoples who speak the Portuguese language”

Luiz Tadeu Feitosa, a visiting researcher at CECS, has been a full professor at the Federal University of Ceará since 1992, where he teaches in librarianship and social communication courses.

In the postdoctoral program in which he currently participates, Tadeu Feitosa investigates the area of Culture and the media, as well as the relationship between Culture and mediations.
