On May 2 morning, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) evaluation panel visited the Communication and Society Research Centre. The team of panelists from the Social Sciences – Sciences of Communication panel was composed of Nathalie Fenton (Goldsmith University of London), Barbie Zelizer (University of Pennsylvania), Greg Elmer (Ryerson University of Toronto), Paula Chakravartty (New York University) and Sarah Banet-Weiser (London School of Economics and Political Science).

CECS debate promotes creation of a network of Braga’s associations
On April 30, the day of Associativism, the CECS promoted a debate on Communicating in Associations. With the participation of Civitas, Synergia, Plano i and ASPA, the debate resulted in the project of creating a network of Braga's associations.
CECS co-organized debate on European elections
On April 8, at 10.15 pm., the University of Minho was the scenario of the debate "A Hora da Europa" [The Hour of Europe], promoted by TSF. The initiative is part of a series of four sessions that TSF is developing in four Portuguese universities.

2CN-CLab Brazil 2019 – 1st semester
