José Afonso and José Carlos Capinam: Unsuspected poetic encounters to the sound of the guitar
On 5 December , at 5 pm (Portugal), the seminar ‘José Afonso and José Carlos Capinam: Unsuspected poetic encounters to the sound of the viola’ will be held via Zoom platform, with the participation of Professor Edilene Matos and the moderation of Professor Moisés de Lemos Martins. The meeting proposes a dialogue between the poetics of José Afonso and José Carlos Capinan, poets marked by a rebellious lyricism. On the one hand, the poetics of José Afonso, whose work - widely recognised throughout Portugal and beyond - is strongly associated with the political impact of his songs, which represent an essential milestone in Portuguese culture. On the other hand, Capinan's poetic work, which moves between that of the lyricist and that of the interpreter of his land, including that musicalised, rhapsodic, giving meaning to thinking about his country. The GENTEEL project - Graphic Novels Against Gender Violence - is one of those selected for the Exploratory Projects in All Scientific Domains competition, launched in 2023 by the FCT. Having been awarded second place in the Arts panel, it will be carried out by a research team that brings together academics with recognised experience in the fields of comic book studies, visual culture and gender studies, as well as significant experience in qualitative social science methodologies applied to the field of education. Editores temáticos: Alberto Sá (CECS, Universidade do Minho, Portugal) e Luis Miguel Pedrero (Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, Espanha) A inteligência artificial é hoje um dos principais desafios do ponto de vista tecnológico. Com expressivos benefícios na execução de inúmeras tarefas e no processamento de informação, a automação das atividades a que pode ser aplicada tem sido reconhecida como uma forma de melhorar a produtividade, reduzir o erro humano, economizar recursos e aumentar a eficiência operacional. Na indústria, como na saúde, a inteligência artificial tem sido encarada com otimismo e como uma promessa de inovação a que não é indiferente o campo da comunicação. Não obstante o entusiasmo e a surpresa com as novas possibilidades proporcionadas pela criação de sistemas capazes de simular o pensamento humano, a inteligência artificial tem inspirado reflexões críticas, sobretudo do foro ético. O extenso impacto de "aplicações inteligentes" nos processos comunicacionais sugere uma problematização aprofundada dos efeitos das tecnologias de linguagem natural, da algoritmização, do processamento de dados e da geração de conteúdo automatizado na produção jornalística, publicitária e criativa.
