On the day commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CDC), the Communication and Society Research Centre and the Research Center for Child Studies of the University of Minho, reissued the book Os Direitos da Criança, an adaptation of CDC, by Paula Cristina Martins and Sara Pereira.
The presentation of the book took place at the Institute of Education, on November 20th, in the framework of the I PPSINFAD International Congress and the XXVII INFAD International Congress.
The first edition was published 20 years ago, in a collaboration between the now defunct Braga Civil Government and the Institute of Child Studies. Pedro Bacelar de Vasconcelos – then Civil Governor of Braga – signed the prefaces of both editions. The illustrations were by Arlindo Fagundes.
