Within the scope of the project “Culture and Development: Cultural Projects and the 2030 Agenda”, the Observatory of Science, Communication and Culture Policies (CECS/UMinho) has extended its activities to the Brazilian territory, from a challenge launched by the Culture Management of the National Department of Sesc. The proposal is the adaptation and application of the methodology implemented in Portugal in the context of the Sesc units throughout Brazil.
The project coordinator, Manuel Gama, kicked off the first phase with a webinar “Contributions of Culture in the decade of action of Agenda 2030” and in the coming months the workshops “Cultural Projects and the 2030 Agenda: ideas for the future” will be implemented with the dynamization of webinars, workshops and mentoring with the purpose of contributing to the appropriation of the 2030 Agenda by professionals of Sesc’s culture program.
