POLObs goes to Brazil

In the scope of the project “Culture and Development: Cultural Projects and the 2030 Agenda”, the Observatory of Policies on Science, Communication and Culture (POLObs) will be in Brazil for the execution of a work plan involving five Brazilian states: Ceará, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná and Santa Catarina. The importance of culture in the decade of action of the 2030 Agenda will be the motto of the scientific activities.

The mission will last two months and will be coordinated by researcher Manuel Gama, who will depart to Brazil this Wednesday, March 9. On March 12, there will be an inaugural session in São Paulo, at 6 pm (Lisbon time, PT), on Youtube.

The objectives of the mission include observing the implementation of networked cultural projects, framed within the 2030 Agenda and conceived in the 2CNCLab Workshops in the years 2020 and 2021; dynamising the 2CN-CLab Workshops in a face-to-face format, with the aim of generating ideas of networked cultural projects for the decade of the 2030 Agenda action; and holding seminars and conferences aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students in higher education institutions, such as the Federal University of Paraná, the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Catholic University of Santos.
