Taking as its theme TransArts, expanded art and new languages, Passeio is organising one of the pre-conferences of ECREA 2021. The event that was to be held on October 1, 2020, has been rescheduled due to the COVID-19 epidemiological situation. As such, the pre-conference will take place on 03 September 2021.
This pre-conference proposes to question art when it integrates new possibilities and seeks to create new meanings. The papers included in the programme propose a critical reflection on the interpellations, questions and doubts raised by such artistic projects and the limits and boundaries that divide the different forms of artistic expression, art from life, and the work from the public.
The event will provide a platform for arts professionals, academics and PhD students to discuss current developments in (trans)Art and the transgression and integration of boundaries in the artistic field. The participants, coordinated by the local organisation, will debate and exchange on particular issues and cases. (Trans)Arts expanded art, and new languages is an excellent networking opportunity.
