- “Gender and Diversity in Higher Education“, coordinated by Emília Araújo;
This project stems from the growing challenges higher education institutions face in the context of ongoing cultural and social transformations. Diversity and gender plans are important tools for managing gender, ethnic and religious diversity within academic institutions. However, for the most part, they lack information from in-depth studies to prevent and identify phenomena that create or reinforce inequalities in the pathways of the student population, creating challenges for the image and prestige of institutions. Following the UNESCO guidelines, this project aims to broaden knowledge about problems related to the integration of students in higher education institutions in Portugal, contextualizing these realities in the light of the main policy developments for diversity.
Interested students should fill in the form and send it to cecs@ics.uminho.pt.
