Memories, cultures and identities: how the past weights on the present-day intercultural relations in Mozambique and Portugal?

This project aims to promote knowledge on cultural, economic history and social representations in Mozambique and Portugal by collecting, preserving and analysing narratives conveyed by museum’s colections, history textbooks and cinema. It also intends to give voice to young people from secondary school, enganging them in activities of reflection, reinterpretation and recreation of narratives about past and present-day intercultural relations. It was based at Communication and Society Reasearch Centre (CECS, University of Minho, Portugal) and Eduardo Mondlane University (Mozambique).
