Ana Cármen Palhares PhD defense

Ana Cármen Palhares’s Ph.D. defense will be held on July 19 at 2:30 pm in the Institute of Social Sciences.

The thesis, supervised by Moisés de Lemos Martins, a CECS researcher, is entitled “What Educators for the Contemporary? A case study at the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, Portugal, and Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo, Brazil”.

The jury presided over by Helena Sousa consists of:

– Moisés de Lemos Martins, full Professor of the Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Manuel Joaquim da Silva Pinto, full Professor of the Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– José Augusto Bragança de Miranda, Associate Professor with aggregation of Universidade Nova de Lisboa;

– Maria Manuel Rocha Teixeira Baptista, assistant professor with aggregation of the Department of Languages and Cultures of the University of Aveiro;

– Maria da Luz Ferreira Abreu de Sousa Correia, assistant professor of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures of the University of Azores;

– Sérgio Alberto Rizzo Júnior, professor of Audiovisual Education at the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation of São Paulo.
