PhD Viva of Ana Sofia Comes

Ana Sofia da Silva Gomes’s PhD Viva in Communication Sciences will take place on 22 June 2026 at 2.00 pm in the Lecture Hall of the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Minho.

The thesis, supervised by Teresa Ruão and José Gabriel Andrade, is entitled “Personal Brands and the Challenges of Human Communication: how does Strategic Communication create brand-people?”.

The examination board, chaired by Felisbela Lopes, comprises:

– Teresa Ruão, Full Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences at the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;
– Mafalda Eiró-Gomes, Coordinating Professor at the School of Media and Communication, Lisbon Polytechnic Institute;
– Manuel Serra da Fonseca, Coordinating Professor at the School of Business Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo;
– Fátima Encarnação Marques Dias Soares, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities of the Portuguese Catholic University;
– Ana Melo, Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences at the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho.
