PhD Viva of Elisabeth Veloso

Elizabeth Machado Veloso’s PhD Viva  in Communication Sciences will be held on 6 May at the University of Minho’s Institute of Social Sciences, at 2pm.
The thesis, supervised by Elsa Costa e Silva and Helena Sousa, is entitled ‘Social Representations in Parliament on Big Tech – The Debate on Personal Data Protection in Brazil (Law No. 13,709 of 2018)’.

The jury, chaired by Felisbela Lopes, is made up of:

Maria Zara Simões Pinto Coelho, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences at the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Minho;
Maria Elsa Sousa Costa e Silva de Morais, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho;
Sandra Cristina Santos Monteiro Marinho, Assistant Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;
Rodrigo Gómez García, Research Professor (titular C), Department of Communication Sciences, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Cuajimalpa, Mexico;
Helena Martins do Rêgo Barreto, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Culture and Art of the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil.
