PhD exams of Fernando Lopes

The PhD exams in Cultural Studies by Fernando Augusto Silva Lopes will take place on October 27, at 10 am.

The thesis, supervised by Moisés de Lemos Martins, has the title “Culture and Technology: The Digital Image as a Contemporary Cultural Sign”.

The jury, chaired by Manuel Pinto, is composed of:

– Joaquim Mateus Paulo Serra, Full Professor, Department of Communication and Arts, University of Beira Interior;

– Maria Zara Simões Pinto Coelho, Associate Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Maria Helena Costa Martins Pires, Associate Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Maria da Luz Ferreira Abreu Sousa Correia, Assistant Professor, Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, University of the Azores.

The PhD exams will take place on the Zoom platform.
