PhD Viva of Maria Alice Campos

Maria Alice Campos’ PhD Viva in Communication Sciences will take place on 20 June at 2 p.m. in the Sala de Atos of the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Minho. The thesis, supervised by Helena Sousa, is entitled ‘Disinformation in an electoral context: analysis of the main narratives of disinformation in the 2022 presidential election campaign in Brazil’.

The jury, chaired by Felisbela Lopes, is composed of:

Helena Costa de Carvalho e Sousa, Professor at the Department of Communication Sciences of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho;
João Manuel Messias Canavilhas, Professor at the Department of Communication, Philosophy and Politics of the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Beira Interior;
Maria Madalena da Costa Oliveira, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho;
Maria Elsa Sousa Costa e Silva de Morais, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho;
Liziane Soares Guazina, Associate Professor in the Department of Organisational Communication at the Faculty of Communication, University of Brasília.
