Sílvia Maria Fernandes da Silva PhD’s defense

Sílvia Maria Fernandes da Silva’s Ph.D. defense will be held on September 4th, at 2:00 pm in the Institute of Social Sciences.

The thesis, supervised by Emília Araújo, a CECS researcher, is entitled “Understanding the impact of (in) science from researchers”.

The jury presided over by Helena Sousa consists of:

– Helena Cristina Ferreira Machado, Professor of the Department of Sociology of the  Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Ana Paula Pereira Marques, Associate Professor with Agregation of the Department of Sociology of the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Sofia Isabel Coelho Bento, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences of the Higher Institute of Economics and Management, University of Lisbon;

– Emília Rodrigues Araújo, Assistant Professor of the Department of Sociology of the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Pedro Miguel Rito Alves Videira, Ph.D. in Sociology and Research Fellow at the Center for Research on Higher Education Policies, University of Porto.
