Sílvia Maria Fernandes da Silva’s Ph.D. defense will be held on September 4th, at 2:00 pm in the Institute of Social Sciences.
The thesis, supervised by Emília Araújo, a CECS researcher, is entitled “Understanding the impact of (in) science from researchers”.
The jury presided over by Helena Sousa consists of:

– Emília Rodrigues Araújo, Assistant Professor of the Department of Sociology of the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;
– Pedro Miguel Rito Alves Videira, Ph.D. in Sociology and Research Fellow at the Center for Research on Higher Education Policies, University of Porto.
