Public art communication involves the production, diffusion, consumption and understanding of art in public contexts. It presupposes that art is a social and communicative process, aiming to circumscribe it in 2 main directions of research:

  1. A reflection and diagnosis on the Public Communication of Art in art, physical and virtual museums.
  2. A more practical and pedagogical part that aims at the application of an informal learning system for the arts to be used in museums, with hypermedia modules presenting new interfaces, namely a multi-touch table that was tried by the audience of the anthological exhibition of the artist Joana Vasconcelos, at the Berardo Museum in 2010.
