The growing interest in the memory of colonialism has become increasingly evident the need to confront the legacies of violence established by modern empires. In this sense, this dossier brings together articles that contribute to a reflection on the current situation of the Portuguese colonial past in a perspective that privileges the weight of the inheritance of colonial violence.
