New book “Portugal e Moçambique – Travessias identitárias e imaginários do passado e do presente” published

The book Portugal e Moçambique – Travessias identitárias e imaginários do passado e do presente (Portugal and Mozambique – Identity Crossings and Imaginaries of the Past and Present), edited by Moisés de Lemos Martins, Alice Balbé, Isabel Macedo and Eliseu Mabasso, was published.

The work stems from the research developed in the project “Memories, cultures, and identities: how the past weighs on the present-day intercultural relations in Mozambique and Portugal?” and assembles a set of texts addressing representations of the past and the present in films, textbooks and museum exhibitions, and literature, relating to Mozambique, Portugal, and others.

The book is available in open access and is published by the Húmus publishing house and the Communication and Society Research Centre.
