MILObs’ seminars are back: Media Literacy in School Libraries

MILObs’ seminars are back in January, under the subject “Media Literacy in School Libraries”. The event will be organized in partnership with Rede de Bibliotecas Escolares (RBE) and Grupo Informal sobre Literacia Mediática (GILM) and will take place on January 28th, at 2:30 PM, via Zoom.

In the seminar, MILObs and RBE will present the results of a study regarding the work that has been done in school libraries for Media Literacy. In 2019, the team conducted an online survey to all teachers who worked in school libraries of the Portuguese public school’s network, having resulted in a total of 723 completed surveys.

The event is free and open to anyone interested, but registration is mandatory.
