The elections for the board of directors and research groups of the Communication and Society Research Center for the 2025-2028 terms were held yesterday, April 23. The polling station was chaired by Zara Pinto Coelho, with José Cunha Machado and Maria José Caldeira as members.
For the board of directors, the candidacy resulting from the only proposal submitted – List A – was elected, led by Madalena Oliveira, who will assume the position of director for the next term, with deputy directors Luís Santos and António Vieira.
In the research groups, Rita Araújo and Elsa Costa e Silva will be coordinating and vice-coordinating the Media and Journalism research group respectively, having presented the only proposal (list A).
Pedro Chamusca and Ana Melo will become coordinator and vice-coordinator, respectively, of the Strategic Communication, Organizations and Territories research group, as a result of a roll-call vote.
In the Culture, Arts and Communities research group, Zara Pinto Coelho was elected coordinator, with Rita Ribeiro as vice-coordinator, also by roll-call vote.
