On March 16 and 17, an international meeting of the 3AC – Active Ageing Academic Certificate project took place at the University of Mikolo Romerio, Lithuania, with the participation of teachers/researchers from the four European universities that integrate the project: UMinho, Lille (France), Mikolo Romerio (Lithuania) and Wroclaw (Poland).
In Portugal, the 3AC project involves teachers/researchers from ICS, EPsi and ESE of UMinho. It has as partners the Municipality of Guimarães, the Association CIVITAS Braga and the Association of Pensioners of Guimarães.
Besides conducting an exploratory study on the profile of potential candidates for short-term training at the university level, the 3AC project team from UMinho will provide people aged 55 and older with a 20-hour course on physical, mental and social health, during April, at the Azurém Campus.
