The next session of the Permanent Seminar on Communication and Diversity of CECS will take place at the Juno Café (Braga) tomorrow (March, 9, 9:00 p.m.), which will consist of a roundtable discussion on “Pro-Palestinian activists”.
The event, part of a photographic work of Sandra Barrilaro, results from the partnership between the SPCD of CECS-UMinho, of Civitas Braga – Association for the Defense and Promotion of Human Rights, of the Braga UMAR – Women’s Alternative and Response Union and the Palestinian Action Group. This activity is part of the “Conversation Wheels – Women activists: paths and challenges”, an initiative that aims to reflect on various forms of activism.
The activists invited to this initiative are Sandra Barrilaro (photographer and editor), Ana da Palma (traveler, having spent 16 days in the Zionist ‘hell’ of Palestine), Carolina Moreira (nucleus of UMAR – Coimbra). The event will be moderated by Helena Ferreira (PhD Cultural Studies student) and Carla Cerqueira (researcher at the CECS).
Admission is free.
