Sara Gabriela Lima de Silva: new PhD in Sociology

On December 6, at 10:00 am, in the Auditorium B1 of the Pedagogical Complex II of the University of Minho, was held the doctoral exams in Sociology of Sara Gabriela Lima de Silva.

The thesis, supervised by Alice Maria Delerue Alvim de Matos, has the title “The effect of the social network on Quality of Life of the newly retired Europeans”.

The jury, chaired by Helena Sousa, is composed of:

– Maria Johanna Christina de Carvalho e Sousa, Associate Professor with Aggregation of the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, University of Beira Interior;

– Stella António Bettencourt da Câmara, Assistant Professor of the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon;

– Alice Maria Delerue Alvim de Matos, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– José Manuel de Sá Cunha Machado, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho.

The candidate obtained the maximum score in the University of Minho: very good unanimously.
