The auditorium of the School of Engineering building at the University of Minho, at the Gualtar campus, is hosting a PolObs seminar on 4 April at 2.30pm on the theme: ‘Regulation of digital platforms: challenges and critical perspectives’.
The event begins with Round Table 1 – Dialogues on the regulation of platforms in the light of the Political Economy of Communication (14:30-15:30), with the participation of César Bolaño, from the Federal University of Sergipe, Helena Sousa, president of the Regulatory Council of the Media Regulatory Authority (ERC) and moderated by Pedro Moura from CECS/University of Minho. This will be followed by Round Table 2 – Europe and the Regulation of Platforms (15.30-16.30), with interventions by Helena Martins, from the Federal University of Sergipe, and remote interventions by Telmo Gonçalves and Carla Martins, members of the Regulatory Council of the Regulatory Authority for the Media (ERC). The moderator will be Luís Miguel Loureiro, University of Minho.
