With the war in Ukraine, Europe has recently been faced with a delicate situation. On the one hand, it is trying to refute Russian arguments justifying the invasion of Ukraine, and on the other hand, it is trying to be restrained in its actions in order to avoid an escalation of tensions that could trigger an open war against Russia.
The consequences of the invasion of Ukraine, which is now one year old, and how Europe has been impacted by the war will be the topic of debate at the next Communitas event. The conversation will take place on 23 February, Thursday, from 5.30 pm. It will be exclusively online, through the Zoom platform.
The seminar counts with the presence of Pedro Ponte e Sousa, professor of International Relations at the Universidade Portucalense; Sandra Fernandes, a researcher at the Political Science Research Centre of the Universidade do Minho; and Luís Miguel Loureiro, a researcher at the Communication and Society Research Centre.
