The first Communication and Diversity Seminar of the 2022/2023 academic year will take place on October 20 at 6 pm via Zoom.
The scientific event will be attended by Alix Didier Sarrouy and is dedicated to the theme “The art of building citizenship: youth, creative practices and activism”.
Dance, music, visual arts, video, photography, performance, and digital activism, among many others, are forms of expression used creatively by young people in intervention on behalf of multiple causes and social struggles. To account for this diversity, the book by Alix Didier Sarrouy – with the same title as the seminar – is divided into four means of artistic intervention – the body, sound, image, and technology. It gathers contributions from social scientists and artists from various countries, exploring new dialogues and synergies between disciplinary areas.
